WegoWise, New Ecology, Elevate Energy Highlighted by Green Tech Media for Bringing Energy Efficiency Strategies to Low-Income Housing in Seven States

Green Tech Media 's Katherine Tweed highlights a new partnership between WegoWiseNew Ecology and Elevate Energy in "Multi-State Efficiency Program Launches for Low-Income Housing." This partnership will promote energy efficiency in up to 1,850 low-income housing buildings in Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia. WegoWise will provide data on the buildings' use of utilities, New Ecology will provide consulting work and the recommended retrofits will be implemented by Elevate Energy. 

WegoWise's director of business development, Dan Teague, says that the focus of the initiative is on states that have not yet prioritized energy efficiency in multifamily properties. According to Ed Connelly, president of New Ecology, "The multifamily market still lags behind the rest of the market in implementing efficiency projects. This partnership solves that conundrum by packaging veteran expertise with advanced technology to deliver hands-on assistance that is affordable, easy to use, and proven to deliver impressive results.”
