Black Lives Matter
Racial and economic equity are enduring values at BlueHub. In fact, BlueHub was founded in 1985 to address damage wrought by decades of predatory lending practices that resulted in racially and economically segregated communities. Our work targets low-income communities and individuals—disproportionately people of color and women—that have been systematically denied access to capital.
We exist to strengthen the health of communities where low-income people live and work. That mission is grounded in the belief that everyone is entitled to live in a safe and economically vibrant neighborhood. We accomplish our mission by providing financing for housing, education, healthcare, healthy food access, and economic and environmental vitality.
Reducing inequality is at the heart of why BlueHub was founded and why we do the work that we do.
