Today The Commonwealth Institute, in partnership with The Globe Magazine, named Boston Community Capital to its highly anticipated annual list of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts, for the second year in a row. Under the direction of Elyse Cherry, BCC's CEO, Boston Community Capital has invested over $1 billion in disadvantaged communities since 1985.
The honor was announced today at an awards breakfast hosted by The Commonwealth Institute at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. TCI is a nonprofit, community-based organization that seeks to help its members learn, grow and succeed as women business owners and business leaders.
