CommonWealth Magazine Publishes BCC Op-Ed Regarding Pending Solar Legislation

In "New Solar Legislation Goes the Wrong Way" published by CommonWealth Magazine, Elyse Cherry, DeWitt Jones and Emily Rochon recommend that Massachusetts legislators rethink House Bill 4185. The bill, which is currently under consideration on Beacon Hill, would implement "new size and eligibility restrictions" that would impede the advantages Bay State residents could see from installing solar panels. 

"We recognize the need to do something before the legislative sessions ends on July 31," write Cherry, Jones and Rochon. "But the risks of passing this legislation as is are too great if Massachusetts is serious about remaining a leader in renewable energy. "
