As BlueHub’s first CIO, Sevy will lead technology strategy for the national nonprofit and work with executives to drive business efficiency
BlueHub Capital, a national nonprofit community development financing organization, announces the hiring of Monica Sevy as its first Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Sevy has spent her career working to drive technology transformation within nonprofit and advocacy organizations. Her extensive experience in developing and implementing tactical IT and security leadership strategies across intricate organizational structures positions her well to lead BlueHub's technology strategy. She will work to ensure IT strategy effectively aligns with the organization's goals and mission to build healthier communities where low-income people live and work.
Working in close collaboration with BlueHub Capital CEO Elyse Cherry, Sevy will be a crucial member of BlueHub’s executive leadership team. Her role will focus on developing and implementing a comprehensive IT vision and strategy for BlueHub while advancing the technological portfolio of the organization. Leveraging her expertise, Sevy will work to enhance the reporting of key performance indicators across BlueHub’s nonprofit programs and explore how AI can improve workflows.
“Monica’s proven track-record building cross-functional partnerships, leading IT transformations, communicating change and building consensus around technology initiatives will help BlueHub better serve our staff, partners and communities,” said Cherry. “We are very excited to welcome Monica to our team.”
As CIO, Sevy will be responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of technology solutions, while managing the day-to-day IT needs of the organization and helping to advance its strategic initiatives.
