Boston Community Capital’s SUN Initiative was featured on FOX News Boston Thursday, September 22nd. The story explained the SUN Initiative’s process of working with banks and attorneys to stop the eviction process, purchasing foreclosed properties at current market values, and reselling those properties to their current occupants at a significant discount off the prior mortgage value. FOX News Boston spoke with Lydia, a SUN client whose home was saved in 2010. Thanks to BCC’s SUN Initiative, Lydia is able to make mortgage payments she can afford.
